My PS3 arrived a little less than a week ago, along with MGS4 and Infamous. So far I am very satisfied with it. I do get some overscanning (the image is offset to the right, distracting at first but I don't notice it anymore) since I'm using it on my computer monitor, but that's ok. The games I got are incredibly good (I am a bit ashamed to say I completed MGS4 in about 4 days...but it was so damn good!), and I have no regrets on my purchase. It arrived in great condition, no scratches, and with a Dualshock 3 controller (not that Sixaxis shit that doesn't have rumble).
I've recently had the need to make my life even more convenient. I ordered an HDMI switch which will allow me to plug in three different devices via HDMI, so rather than switch out my cables every time I want to play PC or PS3 I can just click a switch and it will switch the signal over. I'm using my 360 via a VGA adapter to my monitor, so that doesn't really factor into it. I plan on running an HDMI cable from my PS3 to the switch, an HDMI to DVI cable from my computer to the switch, and another HDMI to DVI cable from the box to my monitor.
My only other issue that I've had with this is my speakers. I currently use a red and white to green and black signal adapter to plug my PS3 directly into my speakers, but am forced to change the connection every time I want to change from my PS3 to my PC and vice-versa. I have a red and white to 3.5mm adapter to plug into the headphone jack in my center speaker, but I don't think the plug makes full contact because some of my speakers cut out. I'm assuming that it's because of the shape (the jack is convex and the adapter is fat, so I don't think it's fitting in all the way), so I ordered a 3.5mm cable extension as well. Hopefully this will get me up and running.
In other news, my 360 will be arriving back from repair within a few days, I'm glad to finally be getting it back (along with a free month of Gold).

So I did it.
So guys, I stopped beating around the bush with this free PS3 BS (which is legit by the way...it just takes an eternity to do) and got an 80GB PS3 on Ebay. It was quite a steal, only $255 for the 80GB model (not backwards compatible, however), all necessary cables, and a Dualshock 3 controller (not one of those shitty Sixaxis ones...a legit Dualshock 3 with vibration AND motion sensing). It's supposed to arrive on Wednesday.
In the meantime I purchased Infamous and Metal Gear Solid 4 on Amazon, the two must-haves for the Playstation 3. I wanted to get Motorstorm, but with the combined fact that Pacific Rift is still around $35, the original isn't the newest one anymore, and Arctic Edge is coming out late this year, I figured it was more of a waste than it was worth. I'll probably just rent it.
In other interesting news, I saw that this one person was selling the information on Ebay on how to get the free PS3. To my outrageous surprise, it was selling for $150, despite the fact that it clearly stated that you shouldn't bid, and if you did you'd only receive the information in the listing and all payment would be a donation! I just had to try it, so I put up my own listing for it which is slated to end tomorrow, and it's already up to $7 (not much, but considering real ones are only about $20 more with just a day left, it's a hint that the price will spike)! I mean, are people really so ignorant that they don't even read the listing? I mean really!
Finally, my Xbox 360 got the E74. Buyshield (the company I got my 3rd party warranty from) stated that they couldn't take it back yet (they have a 60 day wait period that hasn't ended yet), so I contacted Microsoft and had them send me a box. I sent it out for repair yesterday, so hopefully I'll have it back within 2 weeks.
Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated on this whole situation.
