My PS3 arrived a little less than a week ago, along with MGS4 and Infamous. So far I am very satisfied with it. I do get some overscanning (the image is offset to the right, distracting at first but I don't notice it anymore) since I'm using it on my computer monitor, but that's ok. The games I got are incredibly good (I am a bit ashamed to say I completed MGS4 in about 4 days...but it was so damn good!), and I have no regrets on my purchase. It arrived in great condition, no scratches, and with a Dualshock 3 controller (not that Sixaxis shit that doesn't have rumble).
I've recently had the need to make my life even more convenient. I ordered an HDMI switch which will allow me to plug in three different devices via HDMI, so rather than switch out my cables every time I want to play PC or PS3 I can just click a switch and it will switch the signal over. I'm using my 360 via a VGA adapter to my monitor, so that doesn't really factor into it. I plan on running an HDMI cable from my PS3 to the switch, an HDMI to DVI cable from my computer to the switch, and another HDMI to DVI cable from the box to my monitor.
My only other issue that I've had with this is my speakers. I currently use a red and white to green and black signal adapter to plug my PS3 directly into my speakers, but am forced to change the connection every time I want to change from my PS3 to my PC and vice-versa. I have a red and white to 3.5mm adapter to plug into the headphone jack in my center speaker, but I don't think the plug makes full contact because some of my speakers cut out. I'm assuming that it's because of the shape (the jack is convex and the adapter is fat, so I don't think it's fitting in all the way), so I ordered a 3.5mm cable extension as well. Hopefully this will get me up and running.
In other news, my 360 will be arriving back from repair within a few days, I'm glad to finally be getting it back (along with a free month of Gold).
