About a two weeks ago I received my HDMI switch, along with all cables. It's working really great so far, and I don't even need to touch it. All I have to do is put my computer into sleep mode, turn on whatever console I want to use, and it'll automatically switch to that one. I would keep my computer on, but the fans in it are rather loud, and when it's on the consoles don't have access to the speakers (which are being used by the sound card). I also got a 3.5mm extension cable for my speakers so that my red and white to 3.5mm adapter can make full contact with the jack. So far it's working great as well.
About a week and a half ago I placed a pre-order for Windows 7 Home Premium. In case you all haven't heard, Microsoft is offering a 58% discount for Premium (and a 50% discount for Professional) upgrade editions through July 11th, so if you haven't pre-ordered yet and you like Windows, you really should.
Finally, I purchased an external enclosure for one of my hard drives (160GB Seagate). I never use it internally since it accidentally got wiped and all of my information got lost in a recent reformat. Because it's external now I know that it'll be safe against accidental reformats, and it'll be incredibly useful for when Windows 7 gets shipped and I'm going to need to back up my important files and save games.
